The Pendle Witch Story
Beneath Pendle Hill are the tiny Hamlets and farms which played a part in the true story of the pendle witches. It is a story which still haunts the travellers that pass by today. How did nine villagers come to be found guilty of witchcraft? Why does mystery still surround them even though their trial is one of the best documented in the world?

You will be shown some of the strange powers that allegedly the pendle
witches possessed and slowly but surely throughout the night the pieces
will finally come together to solve the mystery that has baffled everyone
for nearly 400 years.
This is a full stage production of a story told through the eyes of nine year old Jennet Devices. She gave evidence against her own mother, Elisabeth Devices who was hanged with the other poor souls on the 20th of august 1612 at lancaster assizes.
